To tell the truth there were many times in the first season that I almost stopped watching this show. But I stuck with it and boy was it ever rewarding. Season 1 was pretty slow to me sometimes boarder line uneventful. I know a few people that stopped watching after season one because of this. But Season 2 has been explosive. Probably one of the best seasons of a TV show out there and it was all due to the character development from the first season.

During season 2 I found myself consistently updating my rating of this show. I initially had it scored a 6 out of 10. Now have it a solid 9. I can't wait for the next season.

If you are planing to watch this show. Stick with it through some of the long drawn out scenes in season 1 and you will be rewarded immensely.

I must say that with the lack of major promotional support (i mean a lot of people i talked to did not even know about this movie)i did not have very high expectations for this movie. I just figured that the studio figured it was going to be a bust but they would release it anyway but decided to save a few advertising dollars.

But i was so wrong. This has got to be one of the best action movies to come out this year. The CGI is almost flawless, the action sequences are great. The first 90 minutes are just pure movie gold. The last 30 are not as good. But boy is this movie one hell of a thrill ride of a movie. I highly recommend it, and do not listen to the critics make your own decision and my bet is that you will thoroughly enjoy it too

I just finally watched the extended version of the movie. And it took me this long to get to it because i like many other people heard it sucked. That could be further from the truth. I kinda regret now not watching it in the movie theater and supporting the film. Just goes to show, should not listen to what everyone else has to say. Guess some die hard comic book fans were not to happy about it. But i say it was just good fun.

One thing that threw me off from watching it originally was the on the TV commercials it appeared like the CGI was just awful (Maybe the could have left that part out of the trailers). But after watching the movie i now see i was wrong. Being that i had never read any Green Lantern comics i did not understand that the Green Lantern Outfit was more like a skin and not a costume ala superman, batman, flash. So from the trailers my misconception of the Green Lanterns look was that it was just a bad case of a CGI outfit, which it isn't. So just Watch it yourself and make your own decision.
