If you can past the acting. It has a fairly good story line...it's Christmas. But the exceptionally stiff and un-natural bad acting on the main characters definitely ruined what may have been intended as a better movie. With better actors for the lead characters, actors with better chemistry would certainly have helped. The characters and acting by Kevin Sorbo and Corbin Berenson were more expected. Overall, given the chance I would have skipped it. If you choose to watch it, don't expect much, but you probably won't get put to sleep. Have popcorn! No tissues required. It does at least have a happy ending and a little of ridiculous comedy.

Yes, it was hard for the boxer to get in, yes the overweight kid had things to overcome but every character had something to prove. Whether to themselves or someone else. But life is one proving ground after another.
