The music did not go along with the drama. It was weird and obtrusive oftentimes overpowering the dialogue. They might have been trying to do ER edgy music, but it didn't fit the slow pace and style of the drama. The music was retro, like 90s style.

Also, the story was centered around one of the doctors who has (I only got to episode 5) a brain tumor. And for some reason, this doctor doesn't seem to know she had a brain scan at some point. Why and how? LOL! Maybe I missed it. Being a doctor, she would have wanted to see the scans and know the results, right?

Anyway, I don't need to keep wasting my time on this. :-(

How bad could it be I thought? LOL! Slowest movie I've ever seen, and with zero outcome. On top of the slowness, there was little light in the scenes. Movies with dark buildings super annoy me. Electricity is a great invention! Turn on some lights!!! I know it's all metaphorical, but it wouldn't hurt to give at least low lighting would it?! Can they not afford lighting?! We finally get a little maybe halfway through. Then there's the lost cat. They are clueless on how to find a cat. That would have added a little life--actually looking for it instead of sitting like bumps on a log. (insert eyeroll here.)

If there is a redeeming quality, it's gazing upon Hyun Bin. His hair is so beautiful!

I've given this four stars only because of the good acting. I really truly tried to make it through, but only made it to Episode 12. The scenes are so grotesque and traumatizing, and they are continuous with hardly any breaks. What makes it extra tough is knowing many people around the world still endure this kind of torture and it could happen to any of us.

Why was the LM so attracted to the LF from the beginning? What was it about her? I don't get it. I've watched many of these Joseon era dramas and the LF character has always been more beautiful than this one and with a little more grit or mystery surrounding her.

I really don't like dropping out after the time I've invested in this drama, but I can't take the risk of further trauma, and especially if it ends tragically. All of the reviews it seems were written by people who only saw the first season, so there is no hint as to the outcome.
