If you enjoy series focussing on seriously dysfunctional families as the members tear each other to pieces, this film is for you. Inevitably, the family is stinking rich with the consequence that everyone is jockeying for positions of power and influence, and of course have absolutely no moral values, although in true soap opera style some do try for redemption by the end of the series. The series was longer than it strictly needed to be, with many convoluted plot twists and turns, but for sheer entertainment value I found it very watchable. Unbelievable - certainly. Engaging - most definitely.

I really enjoyed series one. An interesting story line, reasonably believable for what is really a soap or telenovela, attractive looking people, up to no good at times, but hot and erotic. Series two seems to have thrown caution to the wind, and delivered a story that lacks any credibility (even by the unexacting standards of telenovela). A lot of the action seems quite random, without proper explanation or reason. Needless to say, the actors all have impeccable physiques, and have plenty of opportunity to show them off. I quite like some erotic content to liven up a series on a cold winter afternoon, and this did it to a degree, but the story was a complete mess and many of the actions of the characters lacking intelligence and reason.
