This is a theater must watch for any movie lover. Absolute cinema. Every shot on the racing track is incredible and brimming with talent behind the screen. Every actor in front of the camera also does a wonderful job. Brad Pitt should be seen as a top 10 all-time actor by now. Every role he takes he OWNS. Damson Idris is going to be a big star in Hollywood for decades to come. Kerry Condon and Javier Bardem are always great in every role as well. There wasn't a single weak point from the talent pool in the cast or behind the camera.
The only issue is that the story is a bit too familiar perhaps by now. I mean Cars 3 did this exact same story eight years ago. That being said though, by the end, the only appropriate response to this story are tears. I enjoyed every second and I will not forget how good the engines revving up sounded in the cinema.

This was a great third season of the show. Probably my personal favorite. I like that the show maintains the same themes throughout all three seasons and it doesn't stray too far from what the original point of the story was.
That being said - NONE of these characters deserve to be anywhere near Maxine. She is caring and loving in a way that no one appreciates. Abby's story was nice but everytime she interacted with Max I just hated her. Ginny's words and reaction to Max's "talk" at the part was infuriating. The idea that they're growing apart is nonsense. All three of her besties chose to ignore her existence through the year and then got mad AT HER somehow? Why? Just cause she expressed a little rightful frustration? Silver was basically a non-character for her and Sophie can not seem to make up her mind. Marcus treats her horribly every chance he gets too.
Wishing Maxine nothing but the best, she should be the main character next season.

This has NOTHING to do with the Fear Street trilogy. It is the furthest thing from it actually. If it had a different title and the town was called something else you'd have never guessed this is supposed to be another entry in the franchise.
First of all, how have we progressed backwards as a society where Netflix is now terrified to have gay characters in their movies? The original trilogy came out FOUR years ago but somehow now in 2025 we get THIS. Secondly, the kills are all goofy in the worst way possible. The music is nice and very 80s but that might just be the only good thing here. The characters are all over the place , you are never sure who thinks what or which plot-line is leading to something or if it's just filler.
Despite the movie being 90 minutes it somehow still feels endless and BORING. What a waste of a perfect opportunity to expand on the Fear Street franchise.
