While this while this is obviously exceedingly excellent in comparison to the movie, the comedy spin NPH pt on this series was disappointing. It could have been terrific if it weren't for that. If these episodes were more dark and dreary instead of lighthearted I would have given this 10 starts but unfortunately it severely affected the series. Additionally I don't think NPH was th right choice for Olaf but I guess as the producer he was more concerned with his fame and not what would have been best for the series.

My brother and I watched the first 15 minutes of this movie and both decided it was boring and we were getting nothing out of the movie, yet we decided to give it a while longer to see if it got any better. 20 more minutes went by and still - nothing too interesting. The only relatively interesting scene was when Hope and her boyfriend hook up. Then about 5 minutes later she makes out with a girl on who's experiencing her first trip on ecstasy for about 5 more minutes. Then you basically find out after reading the reviews on here that the movie is not what you expected it to be. The back of the DVD package makes it sound like Hope is supposed to go crazy and have hallucinations and things of that nature, but it's really about drugs. She's battling an addiction of her boyfriend and her boyfriend's battling his own addiction with drugs. Overall, it's the biggest waste of time ever.

I'd have to say that this movie is one of the best movies. Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep are two of the best actors out there these days. I usually get very bored with movies and find myself looking at the time a lot just to see when the movie will end, but I cannot say I wanted to look at the time once during this movie. By the time the credits came, I was sitting there wanting more. Anne definitely gives it her all in this movie, and Meryl is absolute genius. Though this is not the funniest movie out there, there are times where you laugh your butt off or just sit there in shock because you can't believe what the person just did or said. And yet, the movie does get more serious towards the end. Also, since the movie is not entirely a "chick flick" guys would still enjoy it. I'd give it two thumbs up! Check it out!
