The actors deliver incredible performances and love the twist with the main character in how he connects to his patients. Quinto is compelling as Dr. Wolf. The guest star in the pilot knocked that way out of the park - no spoilers, but her story arc was special and loved watching this team go to work in trying to silver her case. And love the dynamic between the medical interns - seems like a smarter "Grey's Anatomy." They played off each other well, and each added something unique. Can see them all having incredible storylines!
The writing balances levity, drama and suspense perfectly. This shows fantastic. Can't wait for episode 2.

Terrific first film by Nate Boyer, who directed, wrote and stars in this nuanced story about PTSD and trying to come home. 22 vets take their lives everyday on average, this film shines a light on that with absolute authenticity as Boyer was a green beret.
The acting was on point and shades of truthful storytelling (ie the photos of real vets who took their life) to casting some real vets went a long way to tell a unique story. No film will get closer to the lived in truth of these vets and to how we as a society can approach this subject matter than this one. Really appreciated the parallel of the football players but also loved that they also respected the obvious differences.
Go see it asap.

Loved this! The story will surprise you for all the right reasons, it's not about dunking at all but so much more and I loved the metaphor behind it. This film will move you with exceptional performances and it will entertain you with an honest, unflinching journey of self discovery.
It's about embracing and uncovering your true best self, surrounded by the people who love you. One of the best sports comedies I've seen in a while with a great depth of storylines, especially in the mom and son dynamic. This is the kind of Disney original movies I miss, like "Remember the titans" or "cool runnings." The story's actually trying to touch on something meaningful and is unafraid to make its protagonist stumble.
Bloom Li is brilliant! And the writing toes the delicate line between heart and humor.
