I had recently had luck with some films like Oddity and All You Need Is Death, so I was hoping for something of a similar caliber, but unfortunately this just doesn't quite compare. There's uniformly poor acting, cheap visuals, and some hilariously over dramatic music that punctuates nothing much at all I'm afraid.
Intermittently interesting witchcraft/folk horror movie set in an isolated cabin. Begins earnestly but meanders to a mean-spirited ending. I was surprised to see this wasn't a first feature, as most of the film is awkwardly staged and the dialogue scenes are poorly paced. Still, there are some creepy images and the film's heart is in the right place, at least for the first hour. Great title, too.

The Vessel is seriously a film to watch. It has all the right ingredients to make this film a triumph to explore! The film has everything going for, fight sequence, loads of exciting drama, horrific jump scares that will leave you wanting more, and of course great characters written with really well dialogue. The script was impressive. Everything felt real and authentic, not at all cheesy or written by a 5th grader! This is pure cinematic art and I imply you lot to watch this film before you do anything else. I was impressed all the way through so make sure you watch this as soon as possible please!
Ronald Henry's short adaptation is a very good effort. A very well done to the team. I was hooked throughout the entire film. Wished this was longer, with more Alfred scenes - extended ones.
