Who needs CGI when you have great actors, writers, stories and directors!! Thank you Betty Gilpin for bringing us the incredible dead pan, lovable character of Crystal come to the screen. I was losing hope that we would ever see a female 'Bruce Campbell', let alone one who would actually leap frog over him. I am sure Sam Rami is jealous of Betty's performance. Now if only we can have Betty in a new trilogy for us twisted fans and lovers of great popcorn movies that don't need CGI to make it work. I'm in for tickets to the next one!

It's just a movie, not a study of racism. One only has to look at the review dates and see a lot were done within a few days as if it was a class project by snowflakes who are insulted by the fact that whites breathe the same air as they do. Faux intellects claiming whites insult Asians / Japanese who have a sad history, like whites that included slavery and practices of racial superiority. What has that got to do with this movie? Really nuts to get phony intellect social study reviews by rabid hate mongers. Yes, Hollywood makes a lot of junk that I would not use to hold my garbage. But this film hardly merits the volumes of visceral hate lobbed against white people. The claim that Asians are not stars in Hollywood belittles the Asian community of stars that have made it big in Hollywood. Another meh popcorn movie for a rainy day that will not be added to my collection.

Boring and violent for kids. I cannot recommend a film that green lights violence against boys. When did kicking a boy in the groin (that could kill him) become funny? Is punching a woman in the breasts hilarious? This disgusting example of violence to males is teaching a new generation of children that a groin kick that can kill a boy is hysterically funny. So why do they preach you never, ever hit a woman - another shining example of Hollywood's sexist hypocrisy. Garbage film, Bad script. Alec Baldwin of all people should know better than participate in this kind of male bashing.
