Rated it 7 for the CGI, Godzilla, Ghidorah and their power blasts. The father character was over the top as well as a few others. Was also a little put off by Godzilla standing more like a human than in previous movies. The arms and legs were to human like, Now that I think about it, I had the same thoughts about the last King Kong movie. Kong looked more like a giant chimpanzee than a gorilla, and it walked to upright.

The only reason I rated it 2, was because of the few fight scenes. The movie is pointless and drags with wasted dialog just to fill screen time. They use false advertising with Vinnie Jones face on the box cover, but he had less impact and screen time as one of the off-screen key grips for the movie!

I had to write this article to warn people not to be mislead. I checked IMDb's rating breakdown and it has 38 users voting this movie as a 10. You know those users are paid individuals or associated with the movie. So do not always believe the super ratings on IMDb. To verify the user's credibility, always check how many movies they have rated and if their ratings are always 7 or above, talking about how great some of these non-blockbuster movies are.

The writing is very tired "black" humor. Stereotyped and cliché. And this goes for all of the Wayans movies.

Despite the negative reviews (that were 95% correct) I waited for the DVD, because I knew better than to waste time and money at the theater. I was still curious and wanted to give the movie a fair chance, but it was a pain to sit through. I fell asleep twice, cut it off once after 30 minutes, and finally suffered through the entire movie on my fourth attempt.

From the early previews and trailer, I instantly recognized the movie's concept was a rip-off of the "baby Finster" character from Bugs Bunny. And I'm sure this is where they got the idea, but will not admit it. By the way - speaking of previews, this is why I knew "White Chicks" would be bad, and didn't bother seeing it. The make-up was horrible!

Anyway, the the script and acting is bad, and there were only two or three funny moments for me. It was irritating watching Kerry Washinton trying to sound/act white.

And how come Hollywood has overlooked Brittany Daniel? I liked her body better in "Joe Dirt", before the implants!

However, I do like Marlon because he has shown his potential and talents when given a decent role. It may be harsh criticism, but doing roles with his brother Shawn really hurts his chances and makes him look bad. Shawn's acting has always come across as stiff and non believable.

Of course this is my opinion, but I think Marlon and Damon are the only Wayans that have demonstrated -watchable- acting talents (outside of "In Living Color".) (Aside from the Color".
