Interesting concept, good action in general - but c'mon. How much belief do we really need to suspend? I won't spoil anything, I'll just keep it to things that don't have a role in the plot, but how many huge car crashes do we have to witness without the main characters car taking any type of real damage? How many filtl force roundhouse punches can someone half a person's size take and still be able to get up and move forward?

I won't go further because some of the other liberties that were taken in the name of entertainment would give away important things, but this movie was like every terrible action only hole ever rolled into one.

I can enjoy a good action movie and suspend a bunch of belief, but I'm not willing to suspend ALL belief.

Predictable as you could possibly imagine. Not even remotely believable on any level. Usually with films like this, there are some redeeming qualities - other than the acting itself, there is nothing redeemable about this one. Several great acting jobs, but when every plot "twist" has been seen and used a thousand times before, and all the action scenes are as paint by numbers as it gets, there's not much else nice to say.

It is especially funny to have them try and make you believe that they could pull a blue collar guy off the streets and turn him into an acceptable operative in 2 weeks. Other than the fact that the two main characters dated 25 years ago, and she respected the fact that he was gritty, there was absolutely zero reason for a shadow government organization to suddenly show up on this guy's doorstep, of all the people in the world, to literally save the world from chaos and destruction.

Just ridiculous.
