Another physics-breaking zombie fest-again. Yawn. Where do these creatures get all that relentless energy, especially after supposedly rotting in the open for days or weeks? Why don't they ever eat each other when there's no fresh human around? And how are so many of them shown as obese if they're supposed to be starving predators? It's absurd.

The only aspect with a hint of originality is the flashbacks to "normal" life before the outbreak, which offer brief moments of contrast. Otherwise, the science is completely disregarded, emotional arcs fall flat, and nearly every plot development is a recycled cliché. Still, director Boyle deserves some credit for keeping the pacing tight enough to stop the film from dragging too much.

But ultimately, this is just another zombie-horror cash-in-formulaic, predictable, and forgettable.

But, for Disney to take their 'best of all time' and kill it off after only two seasons is quite insane.

The production is very good, acting superb, direction and pacing quite wonderful. A truly compelling start to season 2.

The rag tag rebellion is painfully real, idiotic, childish in so many ways, just as it would be in many cases. Excellent stuff.

The opening scenes, also, prove the writers understand what it means to start something you might not survive in the long run, e.g. Rogue One.

Season One was super, a truly worthy beginning, a confirmation of Lucas' vision. I loved every second.

Flawed? Not. Exacting and reflecting the truth of Rebellion: Definitely.

Fabulous!

Very impressive modern spy story, "find the mole" in the tradition of Tinker, Tailor. Very surprising until at the end you see its director: Steven Soderbergh!

The trailers invoke some kind of clichéd, derivative actioneer - but NO. This is splendidly complex, carefully constructed, and brilliantly portrayed. It even had one laugh-outloud HAHA line!

Fassbender, Blanchett, Skarsgard, Burke, Page and Harris are flawless. Great dialogue, great direction by Soderbergh, writing by David Koepp. A small but concise performance by Pierce Brosnan rounds out the delight.

Fassbender is also just coming off the first year of The Agence (remake of France's best-ever TV show, The Bureau) cements his place in the Spy pantheon of greats.

I definitely look forward to more of this great quality of work by Soderbergh!
