This is my first review, I cannot keep my opinion inside. I am very dissapointed. Seems like AI wrote this. Predictable, soulless, empty and banal, trying too much.

There is no point where you can really connect to any of the characters, all the action comes out of nowhere, motivation is purely intelectual - you know what is happening and how you are supposed to feel about it, but it's just not working because it's forced and wants to deliver so badly.

Looks like the task was to just make a movie, and task is completed. I give it 2 stars because of visual features - it is really beautifully made, great scenery and landscapes. But my oh my, it's such a a joy killer. Nothing worth watching.

Seldom writing reviews, but this one deserved it... just because it got such a low rating.... the movie fulfills the promise of the genre - it's a heist movie, with a bit of comedy in it, and actually funny comedy... and it has interesting plot, with good twist... the acting could be better, the camera could be better, the story could have been better...everything could have been better, but then it would be another movie. This movie deserves higher rating, if for no other reason, then just because it delivers the promised. it s not a masterpiece, it s just a good movie to watch when you want to be entertained... not many movies these days do so, so i must say: bravo,finally!

If you like a movie that is heartwarming and pleasant, somewhat magic and inspiring - this is the perfect one. it is a family movie, with a bit of romance, drama and that fantasy kick that takes you where you always wanted to go as a child - back in time. Some of the reviews here hated the movie, and they almost prevented me from watching it, expecting boring 2 hour paint drying disaster, but i watched it anyways. it was a beautiful surprise....made me laugh, made me wet my eyes a bit, made me think....perfect little family drama, very charming in storytelling, with some interesting situations and intelligent yet simple dialogues.... if i had to describe it, I'd say it's a movie about normal, ordinary people, who try to live the best they can. and it inspires me to try and do the best out of my own everyday endeavors. About time is as charming as Amelie, but less fantasy-full,I'd say. just more real, which makes it easier to relate to on everyday basis.
