I don't understand what people didn't liked about this movie. Good acting, good script, striking long shots. What do you want more? I hope it's not because of people acting homophobic in 2020. It was genuinely a good movie for my taste. I really like long dialogue's in a movie. Why should it only work on Woody Allen, this is a good example too.
I just finished watching the movie, looked up some technical information. I don't even want to talk about the plot, I just want to inform everyone who reads that comment is that this movie is "literally" the best visually stunning movie ever made in the history of mankind and no sir I'm not exaggerating even a little bit, that is the truth. That is my review, take it or leave it.
Let me just give you what you need to know, which was that movie sucks. Sorry to hear it from me but if you consider this movie as horror, you know nothing about that genre. These so called guru's writing things like "I watched Annabelle and stuff, this movie was surprisingly good" must be fake accounts created by production company. Nothing about that plot makes sense, script is straight out mock up of this new "teens getting killed out of Skype or some app" movies. Every line is screaming cliché, demons attacking from behind as always, main characters getting distracted by dead relatives in a life or death situation, when someone sees scary visions they stay and try to find out what it is... I'm so done with this type of movies, where did that old school Hitchcock movies go, ones without a single jump scare.
