I loved it the first 2 seasons, but this season it's going nuts - creating so many new plotlines and characters, I can't keep track. Has everyone in town now been abducted? Some stories are just plain silly, like breaking into an animal shelter to get a dog. What does this have to do with the alien?? I miss the first 2 seasons when Harry was getting used to being human. It was intriguing, funny and entertaining, and learning about the town residents was fun. To be honest I won't be sad if it ends this season, tho I will miss Harry and the funny Alan Tudyk. Hope we see him in something else soon.
Did you see it in a theater or streaming? I'm watching it on Hulu and am really frustrated by the volume. I had to turn my smart TV up to 75 to hear all the dialog! I've never had to do that before. I just had a really ennoying chat with a tech at Hulu who tried to tell me the film's presented that way due to the volume of concert music. Say what?? It's okay not to hear dialog so long as the music is loud enough? Ridiculous. I finally managed to get the tech to report the problem with the right department and hopefully hulu will increase the volume for future viewers. Anyone else have this problem? I can't be the only one.
I completely disagree; this series is engrossing. The actor playing Hernandez, a very complicated person, is doing a terrific job and I hope he's remembered at awards time. I just peeked in at Episode 3, curious how they'd tell his story, and I got hooked. I can't remember if he ended up in prison or was killed by someone so the ending's a mystery to me, which makes watching this more compelling. Not all of these made-for-TV bio series are that good (I was very disappointed in the Julia Roberts one which was really quite sleazy and didn't stick to the facts of Martha Mitchell's story), but I give this one an 8 out of 10.
