1. From all the cool things going on in LOTR books, non of metaphysical, superstitious awesomeness displayed here (aside from the fierce king who's also the father of at-times-annoying-princess, the 2 big eagles, the 1 swamp monster, the 3 orcs). Just people swinging swords and nothing else. 2. Movie is greatly SAVED by it's animation art style. Thumbs up to people who animated this movie. Without it's glamorous pleasant looking animation, this movie would be a terrible pile of failure due to next point. 3. After first somewhat enough interesting half, the movie turns into boring and even at times annoying girl-boss themed nonsense. Gosh, luckily the men inhibiting the besieged fortification had a girl boss among them who daringly challenged the opposition's toxic fool in 1 on 1 fight. Hadn't it been for boss-babe, any hopes of being saved would have been lost cuz its not like the shield maiden instead of the boss-babe princess could have sent the message to the awesome king's nephew that they are in need for assistance. Thank the God for boss-babe knowing how to send out message under siege, that was never explained on screen btw, and the shield maiden not knowing how to send out message while fortification was under the siege. 4. This movie was is extremely boring boss-bage power fantasy movie liked only by femdom praising incels who praise anything that shows absurd and ridiculous boss-babe fantasy roleplay. 5. To sum up -r eal thinking men with developed balls will see this movie for what it is - decent 1st half of movie, boring stupid boss-babe fantasy for 2nd half of movie. And the effort put into by art studio is the only thing that prevents this extremely flawed movie from being 3/10.

This movie's plot (to sum it up) was based on drama aspect of having closure between Neo and Trinity's relationship. And it's sad to see that 4th reinstallment of Matrix has spiraled down from meta-physicality (question of "what is real?") to love story of two people wanting to be together. Neo and Trinity was big part of the plot, but they weren't the main plot. It HURTS to say that the Wachowski (bro)sisters missed greatest opportunity to expand Matrix lore with this movie - to throw bits of information about what the real word is like. What state the real world is in, why humans are kept in pods, and why sentient machines have decided that it's better to keep ("all?") mankind still caged into virtual reality... So many BIG QUESTIONS, non answered. Hollywood needs new spark.

Honest review that this movie is a failure, that is hurtful truth for those who leave good reviews on this failure movie. Those people either have no idea what qualities make movie a good movie, or they are linked with movie production / redistribution (because they benefit from movie sales). Simple honest truth about this movie is - it fails to capture Resident Evil vibe and lore. Casting random (visually) unfit people as game characters, cheap cheesy CGI, childish story writing resulting into bad story telling and trivial plot. The only reason why I can't give this movie 1/10 is because have to give few credits (team production effort) where it's due. It's not fair to diminish value of all movie's production team for the faults of the movie license owning company.
