Frist Half : The first half is interesting with comedy and action packed scenes. But this portion is quite lengthy. Other than than Hansika's portion, Santhanam's comedy were all entertaining.. No need to say about Suriya.. he is at his usual best.. Charming , powerful and natural..

Second Half: The twist at the interval sets your mood to enjoy the thriller. The movie goes at a fast pace when compared to the first half. Some action packed performances such as the rain fight and Suriya taking over as Deputy Superintendent of Police are all superb and power packed. Though climax is much predictable, the action packed performance of Suriya and others make it a worthy film to watch.

Performances: Suriya - As usual, Suriya excels in his role and he has delivered a brilliant performance.dialogue delivery, eye expressions, body language and live energy has redefined screen presence! What a show! The biggest challenge of doing an action packed 'mass' role is not to over do it and he pulls it off with ease. Singam 2 is all his show and he rocks in action, dance, comedy and romantic scenes. His dialogue delivery is natural. Acting is more matured in Singam 2 compared to its prequel. His dance performance in "Singam dance" is remarkable.

Anushka and Hansika: Anushka seems to have less scope for her role, though in second half she does her role perfectly.She has done justice to the given opportunity. Her chemistry with Surya is sure to rock you again. Hansika is effective and her role is meaningful and integral to the plot. She has also done justice to her role.

Santhanam and Vivek: Santhanam is an enjoyable and his sequences livens up the proceedings. The Viswaroopam Kamal sequence or the Kadhal Vandhale scene, He makes us ask for more of him in the film. Vivek hasn't got much scope compared to the prequel.

Villains:

Mukesh Hari and Rahman as the key antagonists , deliver it neatly. Danny Sapani, the London based artist as the international drug dealer is fearsome initially but tapers down towards the end. He could have been much better

Music: Kanukullae and Singam dance are the highlights of the movie. nice to watch in big screen..

VERDICT :

Singam 2 is a typical Hari style movie, which is routine, long and racy. The director has forced too much content, which demands more characters and time. But he has made it watchable and enjoyable action entertainer. Singam 2 is not as good as its prequel, but is definitely a good movie. This movie will come as a relief for Suriya after Maatraan. Thanks to Hari. Watch it for Suriya's Superb performance and some power packed action scenes

Before i start the review, i must say that its a must watch movie for all and is worth every single penny you spend on it!Sad to see some people put crap reviews in this site. Its a good movie and its a movie which might take Tamil cinema to the next level.

Vishwaroopam- a movie, if u watch closely will show the hard work and the effort put in by the legendary actor Mr.Kamal Hassan. Some of you might feel that its not great as a Hollywood movie,etc. but think of the budget of Hollywood movie and this movie. its unfair to compare it with Hollywood movie. but Kamal, with his tonnes of experience has mastered this movie with perfection and with some amazing technicians, the movie has come out to be one of the best movies of Indian cinema.

Cast- Kamal- Stunning,powerful,perfect,brilliant,etc

Rahul Bose(Omar)- has done a fantastic job with some grt

performances.

Pooja Kumar - she has done a pretty decent job and her

expressions in some scenes are really good.

Andrea - she doesn't have much scope in this movie. but

lets wait for vishwaroopam 2. Shekar Kappor and Nasser- they have done their part good and much shud

be seen in vishwaroopam 2. The other terrorists and many other characters fit in their role very well.

Direction: We can see how well Kamal can direct a movie.He has done research in many fields, worked hard on the characters and carefully crafted every scene so that there is minimum mistakes. With all his experience, he has taken each and every scene beautifully and you cant take of your eyes off the screen even for a single moment.

Music: Music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy is quite impressive. the opening song is pleasant and other songs are like background scores. but all are powerful ones. overall they have done a pretty good job! and most importantly, the score during the first fight scene was loved by everybody and is the best part of the movie.

Cinematography: Cinematography was superb in many parts of the movie. The editing of the movie was brilliant and we can say how tough is to edit a movie like this! hats off to the editor.

Screenplay: The movie starts slowly and picks up pace from that. Many might feel the movie was slow and confusing.It depends on people. Those who like good movies and technically perfect movie will like it.Nothing wrong with screenplay according to me. Kamal is a genius. he wont make any mistake.

Final Verdict: Vishwaroopam is a must watch movie and is one of the best movies in Indian cinema. And for a Tamil movie, everyone should be proud that Kamal Hassan has taken Tamil cinema to a next level. There is nothing against any religion and they have shown the truth. In fact everyone should be proud of after watching this movie. It might have blood-sheds and lots of action! but they are fine. People have seen worse than that.For those who have given rating 1 to 5, i can just say that u hate kamal or you are not a good movie fan!

Watch it people! Watch the movie for Kamal and his all-round brilliance. Waiting for V2.
