Some people thought this series was slow or boring..they must be addicted to car chases and gunfights..it has neither of those. What it does have is a meticulously paced examination of a perplexing cold case finally solved by genealogical profiling of dna....one of the first...it's also an argument against so called Privacy protections, that wind up protecting only killers and bureaucrats. It also presents a motive that we are discomforted by;, that sone people kill solely because of mental tempests and the victims just happened to be nearby...this bothers us because it is so random and uncontrollable, but it is true, as an expert witnesss who did many murder trials, I can attest to that.
