First let me say that this is not a great movie. It is extremely rough and fraught with laughable errors. The cast are on par with a group of friends with someone's video camera heading out to *make a movie*.
That being said, it also isn't a hateful movie. The general story line, although very unpolished, shows potential. The concept deals with who or what a monster really is. Even the title is a subtle jab at the cruel and selfish nature of man's heart. The story held my attention and although the acting and dialog was excruciatingly painful. I found myself tipping my hat to this brave crew of first timers who had the courage and trepidation to complete the madness that is film making. Everyone has to start somewhere. I hope thebl best of luck to those who take the opportunity to hone their craft and continue on.

I consider myself a connoisseur of fine schlock. I love bad movies. They have an entertainment value all by themselves. I cam usually laugh my way through the painful acting and poor excuse for editing, but I can finish them with a smile on my face. This one needed the help of Rifftrax to muddle through. I think it was done by either 12 year old kids with a 90's Era camcorder or a very stoned bunch of homeless vagrants trying to explain a bad lsd trip. It was so bad...it just stayed bad. But, I may keep it in mind for some night when I feel masochistic.
While not as good as it's predecessor, the 2021 release of 10/31 part 2 still has it's moments. The independent film makers show some new and some old twists on horror tropes. A few of which were so purposefully over the top with mirth and cheesiness, that it's hard not to give them a pat on the back for their tongue in cheek approach. Some of the stories seem very confusing and I simply felt the story lacked the punch they deserved, but over all it definitely filled a cheese craving for a Friday night.
