Let's review Red One. This movie souly relied on CGI to tell a story. Unfortunately the story was week and extremely boring. If not too much story. It goes from one plot to another with total confusion as to where these two characters are wanting to go. Simmons as Santa is the only one star I can give due to screen presence. But holy moly this script is beyond lame and interesting. As I draw to an end with Krampus fighting I've lost interest in moving forward to back to the kid at the start. Over all .. this is one who won't be putting this picture ont my yearly Christmas list of festive viewing.

So... Freddie Jnr looks like an old scrotem who still hasn't found a good acting school. Monica Portter left acting for a reason. Her hair extensions were almost it's own bad character. So the story. Wow wee what a total waste of time. Poor acting, lame script. Kevin Pollock whom I normally enjoy was just uninvolved in the story. 2demrional characters whom I just don't care about in the first 30 minutes and I still had another 60 minutes to go. And so I persued and boy oh boy ...do it deliver on boredom. I honestly don't know how I survived to the end. End of the day id rather drink pool water than this garbage.

Actually wasn't a cringe worthy as expected. A good nod to a age old era of rom coms which seems to have zero interest these days. Rebel is funny as always but the same same character is getting a little tired. She needs to follow Melissa McCarthy and so more serious roles to break the stereotype. Overall don't expect much and will gain alot. Some good soundtracks and cameos makes it worth a look.
