Lead male character is a pathetic, selfish, loser. No way the female lead or anyone else could fall for for him. The writers, unfortunately left him no room for redemption. Her falling for him in the end was totally unbelievable. Also, the lead male actor was stiff and did not seem to have the capability to exhibit emotions. I gave it a chance because because some movies find a way to save it in the end. This one did not. The male lead characters sad, pathetic, selfish character persisted to the end. I will be vary leery of watching anything else written by these writers; I believe the writers are the ones mainly responsible for this films low rating and are definitely responsible for my my extremely low raring..

I agree with other reviewers on this. It could have been a 10. I do not see why the writers of such a great story with great characters and great acting put up with this.

And it would be so easy to fix. Almost anyone with military experience could help you avoid this shameful fiasco. You have to understand that decorum and attention to detail are very important in the military, especially to those who served and their families.

I want to end though on the positive. Great story, great writing, and great acting, and great portrayal of the anguish and sacrifice of military families. I will ignore the terrible portrayal of "all things military" and watch it again.
