Sure, I've been through Army bootcamp and was the cadet commander of my Navy JROTC...but it's still a great movie! Why do people have to point out all the "negative" stuff, instead of just enjoying the movie.

Shawn Ashcroft did a great job as Brad, though I must comment that he resembles Jonathan Crombie ("Anne of Green Gables" - Gilbert Blythe) quite a bit. :-) Christy Carlson-Romano and Hilary Duff *do* resemble their alter-egos, Ren Stevens and Lizzie McGuire. The only drawback to Christy's character (Jennifer) is that she would've gotten in major trouble for tearing up Kelly's blanket. It was great to watch Kelly reach out by insisting that Jennifer be the one to help with their new routine, even if it would have been disqualified at a real meet. Superchic[k] did a great job with the background song for the routine.

Disney flicks are still great, regardless of inconsistencies. Teenagers, I don't care that I'm almost *26* years old. I'd watch these movies any day!!

Ioan may have been a minor, perhaps overlooked character as a crewmember aboard the TITANIC; yet he's a true hero named Horatio Hornblower who proves himself endlessly. One of the best historical films ever produced! Way to go, A&E.

Clara's a spoiled brat, and Heidi's only friends are Peter (whom she keeps in touch with by e-mail) and his German friend who runs a cybercafe in Berlin, Germany. Between the two of them--and the help of Berlin kids--they get enough money for Heidi to buy a train ticket back to Switzerland.

As this was filmed in Switzerland, the German dialect is spoken more "harshly" except the part filmed in Berlin. There is so much difference in the 2001 version that there isn't enough of the original content as I would have liked. This movie has also been dubbed into French.
