If you know what you're getting into, I think the experience of this movie can be effectively tense and creepy. It's mostly just vibes and I found them enveloping. I appreciate the victims getting the slightest bit of characterization before dying even if the characters themselves are lame. The ending itself is as tense and anticipatory as the rest of the movie but the build up to it takes too long. I felt that a certain scene towards the end stopped the movie dead. Other than that, this was incredibly enjoyable to this slasher fan. While it's not a party movie like Friday the 13th might be, it provides a compelling experience watched in the dark, alone or with the right friends.

If you're a fan of movies about space STDs then this is a good one to check out. People have sex, then die. A good helping of goopy rubber effects, pretty standard for the era. Not one of Empire Picture's best movies, but worth checking out if you watch it to kill a Sunday afternoon like I did. I kinda just wanted to make my "Species II" comment in the header, that movie certainly tops "Transformations" in terms of being a bizarre alien-sex fueled gorefest.

This movie kept my friend and I laughing throughout. I also love the look of this movie, all the effects are lovingly crafted and the lighting was effective. As you may or may not expect, the film does have quite a bit of heart! You really love Psycho Goreman and the kid actors did a good job. Highly recommended for fans of over the top gore, creature fx and generally crazy hilarious movies.
