I had a lot of fun watching this nice Spanish comedy with a funny twist at the end and enjoying the actors and Spanish language! Very good scenography, nice landscapes, good acting, it's almost like a theatre play! I particularly admired the speed of the action, the comic of the situations and also the expressions on their faces, with a remarcable Spanish touch. Any family has its secrets, this one, the Gallierdo, has its own dramas. The Monther is such a great actress, she reminds me of Catherine Deneuve, a true lady! I recommend it also for the outfits and the beauty of their dream house....

Amazing performance of Ralph Fiennes, I do hope he finally gets an Oscar for this, not only a nomination as he had for " The English Patient" and " Schindler's List'.

The imagery of director Berger is stunning, I can't forget the shot with the 103 cardinals in the rain holding their white umbrellas. A painting in a movie!

Isabella Rosellini is also very good in her performance, very mysterious and beautiful as always. I also adored the thrilling music, it marked the dramatism of each moment in the Conclave and came as a liberation force in the end of this beautifully surprising film.

They get a 10 from me.

Great movie, the music was stunning, the atmosphere in the Baptist church rocking, the " Spirit" of Soul throughout this wonderful story. Did learn about her traumas, suffering, all terrible and sad, but such a genius to compose and interpret so deeply! Hope Ms Hudson gets the Oscar for her brilliant performance! The kids in the movie are also gorgeous, Ree-Ree and the other siblings, all so talented! It is the first movie with so many Black stars that thrills me. Well done!! Classy!
