My experience of espionage thrillers from India was not that good for the most part. So, my expectations from The family man was not much. I was also not aware of Raj and DK (the director duo) before this series. But when I watched the season 1 of this amazing series, I was blown away. I usually watch a lot of Indian movies but I had never seen a single shot scene before in Indian cinema. The cinematography was just excellent and the amazing acting by all the actors, specially Manoj Bajpayee (the lead) was a treat to the eyes. The expectations were really high for season 2. And I am glad to say that, they didn't disappoint. Season 2 is as good as the first one unlike most web series. This season also comprises of single shot scenes and terrific action choreography. The screenplay is equally engaging and thrilling. Every episode is ended with cliffhangers as in the case of season 1. The series is undoubtedly binge watch worthy. Finally I want to say that this series is one of the best series produced in India and everyone should give it a watch. It will be worth your time.

This is one of the rare movies which is so real in it's approach and the way it was shot. It really captures the power of investigative journalism. It is based on a true story and it has done justice to all the characters who were involved in the investigation. The director has tried to keep the story real and authentic. None of the scenes were over the top or over dramatic. The acting was also spot-on. The movie emphasized on the importance of good and powerful journalism and the impact it can have on the system, which is sometimes so corrupted and cruel.
