I'm a BIG fan of the 1993 Secret Garden film so I will always compare new versions with that one. This film definitely leans into the fantasy aspect and I was upset that Mary didn't ask for her "bit of earth" because this garden is more magical. I didn't mind the age up into the 40s and all the talk of Mary's mother and aunt. Good themes on dealing with grief. I liked the flashbacks although they sometimes felt jarring. Surprised Colin Firth was in this, but overall stacked cast. Julie Walter's feels like a new Maggie Smith. I don't know if I'll ever rewatch this, but I'm glad I did, especially after reading the book.

I initially wasn't planning on watching Agatha All Along, but after rewatching Wandavision, I was like why not. I am very glad I did. Kathryn Hahn continues to deliver in the role of Agatha. I think it was a strong cast overall. Joe Locke as "teen" does an amazing job and I can't wait to what else he'll do in his career. Aubrey Plaza is also perfectly casted.

This show really kept me on the edge of my seat. It took me a few episodes to get invested and then I binged like half the season in one day. Give this series a chance. You won't be sorry that you did. Right now there might be a lot of Marvel content out there and it can be hard to decide what to watch, but this one's definitely a solid choice.
