I wanted to watch this because i loved "Hal" from "Malcolm in the Middle". He was the dad and he was great in that, so i thought would check out his new show. The first episode had me wanting to know more about this Walter White. It was a really great idea and "Hal" was no where to be seen. This was something way bigger. So i watched every week. Episode after episode and had to watch it the old way, like on TV at a specific time day and time. Streaming wasn't a real big thing yet but AMC was notorious for running its shows all week anyway. So even if you missed a premiere, you could still watch it and not have to wait a whole 6 months to see it.
Like i said in the headline, watch it the whole way through and get invested because the ending will not make you regret the time spent on this show.
The epilogue "El Camino" movie ties everything up even further and is also a perfect companion to what is a masterpiece of a series.

I am big fan of this movie. The soundtrack rocks and its just a lot of fun. Tony Fields makes a great hair metal rock star and is missed for sure. However i have a story about when i rented this from my local store.
The year was 1988 and i was 10. The whole satanic panic was a couple of years old but still alive and well in my house. The old man was going to ban all "evil" from the house and if he had to burn every book, record, and t-shirt he could get his hands on.
I rented this gem and along with "Bad Dreams" sat down to watch some of what i was told by the counter girl "Scary Ones".
Unfortunately the old man busted me watching a VHS copy of this and it was destroyed in a "Smashing" way.
Long story short, he wound up having to pay around 175$ in 1986 money to have it replaced to the movie store. R. E. D. S. Video was less than pleased.
Even more so when he got the whole family banned from the store because of the tirade he went on when he found out it was NOT up to him to destroy all evil in the world. It was not the first or the last place he would have been banned from. "Chuck E Cheese" will also be forever tainted.

So i was introduced to this little gem way back in the 80's. We had a friend of the family who was always making tapes of movies for us. This is actually how i got introduced to horror. Its a bit of an adventure horror that really wont scar your kid. Too much anyway.
Bill Mahr shows up and does his thing. The guy has not changed in 20 years.
I love how its almost like an anthology of stories happening and the house is the Hub. All surrounding a crystal skull. The same kind of skull that was at every flea market i went to in the 90's. Right next to the Purba Dagger from so many many movies.
Its a great afternoon watch during a rainy day.
