Smallest cast in a movie i have ever seen.
Writing, directorship, acting and everything else = Bad high school drama assignment.

Placing Selma Gomez sandwiched between two of funniest men in entertainment is genius. Martian and Short bring a sense of comedy to the show that is often missing in modern sitcoms. Bravo Hulu, and the remarkable case.
First, blaming anyone for a cartoon remake that didn't fulfill your fanboy fantasies is arsine. Lets face it. Reimaging any series from 1981 is not going to appeal to everyone especially the die hard fans.
Is this series different, yes of course. But so is the fan base. Everyone forgets that the original series was made as a vehicle to SELL A PRODUCT, and so is this one.
As with most of the animated series (cartoons in my day) their tie in was to promote the sale of an existing toy line. Mattel arguably did it the best. Saturday mornings were a parents worst nightmare. Before the advent of online shopping and you actually had to take your kid to a store, where they could see their favorite cartoon hero or villain's on display it was hell. Christmas and birthdays were always filled with He-Man, Greyskull and all the trappings.
This series will do exactly that, sell more toys (or collectables as they are called now) to kids and adults everywhere. That's what it was meant to do.
So sit back and enjoy the almost 8 hours of product placement, reminisce about a your childhood or introduce your kids to a new less violent form of entertainment. But don't expect that warm and fuzzy feeling of times gone by. Your are grown up and far more jaded.
