All the character background and slow burn in the earlier two episodes certainly paid off in this episode. What a great episode full of surprises! The acting was fantastic, especially from Theo James who is really proving his mettle once again after The Time Traveler's Wife. The interaction between Harper and Daphne showed them both in different lights and both were pitch perfect. The story of the two couples is easily my favourite. The introduction of the two new characters would be interesting in the next episode. Mike White is a genius, his dialogues are the best and this is the best show on TV right now.

Matt Tebbutt is a great host, I love the banter among the guests and the chefs and of course the recipes from all the celebrity chefs. It provides a perfect start to the weekend and great for all the family to enjoy. The kids can learn about food and recipes as well. The new segments are also great, along with the new specials they've started to do for other religious festivals. I didn't think the programme will survive when James Martin left but Matt Tebbutt has actually turned out to be better, he is funny and charismatic and provides the perfect platform for the guests to interact. There are always new recipes with seasonal ingredients and new ideas.

Sure the story is nothing new but the direction and the acting from the ensemble cast is perfect. Most of the negative reviews on this site seem to be from people having an objection with POCs being the main lead! How dare they not have at least one white person in the main couple? Well-done to all those behind this film, this is how Persuasion should've been adapted!
