Who would not want to see Linda Lawson in a bathing suit! Well, I tolerated 30 minutes of this dog of a movie just to see that. Anything other than that was intolerable. The script, sets and costumes are like a bunch of stoned college kids working on a school project. Dennis Hopper is pathetic! Why do people think he is such a good actor?
But the reason I had to turn this off half way through was the horrible music. It sounded like the director got a bunch of musicians together, no score, and told them to "just play something, improvise." The flute was annoying to the point of no return for me.
Forget this dog!

House has sunk into the abyss. What was once the best show ever, is now garbage, but in my opinion, because of the acting.
Dr. Park (Charlyne Yi) is perhaps the worst actor and most annoying actor I've ever seen. How did she get this part?
Dr. Adams (Odette Annable) is the same. Attractive, but can't act.
THANK YOU for finally getting rid of Thirteen (Olivia Wilde). Every time there was a close-up, she gave me the creeps!
The entertaining comedy team of "House & Wilson" is diminished and appearing forced. The writers have lost all their on-screen chemistry.
It also appears that the writers do not remember what happened to Foreman (Omar Epps) in the earlier seasons. He was blackballed from getting another job, that's why he came running back to House. And now, we find him as the Dean of Medicine. Dumb! And completely unbelievable. This is all contrived to develop some fake friction between House and Foreman.
I already have a lot of time invested in watching, and will probably see it to the end, but I do Fast-Forward a lot, and I suggest you do the same.

In my opinion, the "Last Salute to the Commodore" is perhaps the best cast of any Columbo movie. The two main characters, Robert Vaughn and Diane Baker gave incredible and convincing performances. And the great John Dehner always gives a top notch performance. Even the old regular Fred Draper gave a very good performance as Swanny. But the real gem of acting comes from Dennis Dugan as Mac, Columbo's newly assigned sidekick. Again in my opinion, Mac is the most likable sidekick of all the Columbo movies. He's such a likable person, I could not help but root for him to get things right. A real master work of the Columbo series.
