Because I like the possible poltergeist footage, even as I wonder if some of it is fake . The rest is mostly garbage. Case in point, the squiggly, smoky lines in the sky that are very obviously left from a rocket launch. Voices on the video react like they're witnessing a murder!! We live near Vandenberg Air Force Base and see these contrails almost twice a week. The "experts" need to say, "this is a rocket launch." Full stop. No speculation. The other stuff that is broadcast as "strange phenomena picked up on a security camera", which is usually insect activity (dots flying around the porch), or glitches in the camera-yes, even digital cameras can have extraneous images. The forest animal sounds "never heard before" HAVE been heard, and recognized as several different, very normal animal sounds. But I do love the poltergeist stuff, especially the school in Ireland, and the soldier in the Middle East whose locker opens up-his reaction looked genuine.
And now I see there's yet another remodel show (Down Hone Fab) coming. ENOUGH!!! It's all the same old thing. Toss in another perky couple with building and "design" skills, stage a house with perfect touches and nothing feels any different. I don't watch any of these shows anymore because I've seen it all before. Where are the gardening shows that put the G in HGTV?? What about some DIY shows like they once had (design on a Dime)? Give us something to get excited about, not just more of the same in a different state with a different husband and wife team. Or maybe renovations that don't cost $100,000. Nobody I know has that kind of money sitting around.
In October 2020, my son's family and I were traveling near North Cascades national Park in a heavy rainstorm. Several large clear blobs began to collect on the windshield. We stopped to look at them a little closer, and there were also blobs on the ground. We poked them with sticks, and found that they were more gelatinous than watery. Because it was raining we got back in the car and continued on on our way. When we got closer to a town and had cell phone reception, we googled what it could be. "nostoc" came up - - a blue green algae. Mystery solved. I think it's a stretch to say this stuff is unexplained when a simple Google search identified it right away.
