I was floored by Koch's performance in this episode, he is definitely going places. My husband asked who I thought, out of the two actors playing the brothers, who would win an award. Until this episode, I thought it was a toss up. After this tour de force performance, it's definitely Koch. I haven't done film work but I've been on stage. Once you get on stage in front of an audience, there's no second chances. This one shot episode was like a one-man stage performance. Brilliant. I would love a chance to ask Koch about the rehearsal and actual shooting of this. How many times did they have to shoot it? Was every word scripted or was any of it improvised? How were you playing it? Was all this true or was Eric making it up to sell it to Leslie? (I've already watched the final episode.)
Bravo Koch! Also bravo to the writers of this episode! Bravo to the director and anyone else who took the chance to film it the way it was done.
Sorry if this sounds a lot like "inside acting" stuff but people need to see this performance. The subject matter is definitely heavy and dark so consider yourself warned. If you have suffered any traumatic abuse and you haven't dealt with it, this may bring up a lot of things you may not be ready to hear.

Trust me, if this idea was Americanized, there would only be the prettiest, fittest, most coiffed group of people allowed to be on this show.
I had my opinions on who the person should pick and a lot of times I was surprised who got chosen. The British seem to see something more than just the surface beauty at times. I guess I'm Americanized to only pick the surface physical beauty. I think this show opens one's eyes to see something more than just the physical beauty.
The discussion of body parts and what to do with them seems the most "shocking" thing about this show. All in all, interesting.
