I wanna start of and say I've played the game part 1 and 2 over 1000hrs, I know it's a lot but I've replayed it a lot, but long story short it's a hard watch, I went into season 1 (tv show) with a pinch of salt giving it a chance and waiting to watch season 2 before a review. After watching the first episode in S2, it just doesn't hold up and i don't know were to start.

Way to often the tv show looks too clean compared to the game. For example their clothes look like they're freshly bought often with no imperfections, unlike the game where some details may have rips in clothing or fabric. You notice it very easily in the scene with bella taking down the clicker, it also looked pathetic poorly executed, bad acting.

This show looks like a well made fan made most of the time. It's just not believable and hard to watch when you have played the game.

Also weird small details decisions like they put a bear instead of a moose. Why??

Its crazy that video game characters can show more emotion than real life actors. I still enjoy the show, but the acting doesnt hold a candle to the games.

Watched the movie on bluray (upscaled to 4k), the movie was ok, abit overhyped in Norwegian media, they portray it as the best war movie ever made. The vfx/special effects looks very high quality, there are some scenes that have that fake look from cgi, but most people likely won't see it. The movie should have been longer, the story was cut short at the end of the movie and other scenes. Maybe it was a budget decision, many Norwegian movies always end the movie to early and we don't to see the ending and only get the ending in text. Also wish they would release this movie in 4k bluray, but there's little to none Nordic movies released in 4k format sadly.

Honestly don't understand why this movie is rated so high, clearly alot of nolan fanboys praising him like a movie god. 3hrs of bland dialogue and no action.

The main moment, the nuke explosion is the most fake underwhelming nuke I've ever seen, Nolan's fetish for "no cgi'' and practical effects totally ruined the whole authenticity of the explosion when it's basically just a fuel explosion, no real mushroom cloud, no real shockwave, wrong lighting. Just bland fake explosion of fuel. Surely they have the budget to make a real explosion with real explosives to get a real shockwave and add in a cgi mushroom cloud. Would have looked way better.
