The visuals of the series might come off as the plot being sexy but its nothing like that at all! I really enjoyed myself watching the characters go about, the unpolished looks, the contrasts - everything is just perfect! I relate a lot to the main character as a hardworking individual in a brutal and demanding industry. The visuals come to be like that because the MFL works in a makeup- fashion company. Her love interests are the CEO of the said company and its top photographer.

The MFL isn't acting stupid or slow, cunning or cringey cute -she's every girl doing her best while still struggling to firmly hold her sense of self. I really love this series!!

The male love interests have their own fleshed out backstories so they don't really seem 2 dimensional, it's such a refreshing take!

Kamijo San has been playing these type of internally struggling characters that I still can't help but have fun watching him. I watched this movie because I am familiar with all the main casts works before. I was not disappointed with the plot, has some dry humor here and there.

Overall, that ending really pulled my heart strings from dread to glee several times. Satisfied.

It was packed properly as it ended and left no stray threads behind. Although I admit it got confusing with where they were going with how light is originating from.

Not to miss the cinematography, I love how light it is and the shooting locations are lovely.

Just a few minutes in and I'm sucking in my tears. This is an emotional movie of understanding others, of oneself and being understood. Just being seen. It's pretty heavy themed but not just for the sake of it. To the very least there's a conclusion of healing properly folded in by the end.

It's all about the journey, it's a drama so viewers should be prepared. It's not that deep but it's realistic enough that it does damage to the chest. Especially when you had at some point been in the situation of the characters such as domestic violence and gender/identity disorders. This movie has some of that.
