F1 the movie
This movie plays out mostly on the scenery of Formula one racing tracks. The plot of the story comes to light just a few minutes into this thing and its the rivalship between 'young black male with a minority complex out for vengeance' and 'elderly straight White male chasing a dream'.
Elderly straight White male is played by 'good looking for any age'- Brad Pitt and he does a great acting number which he isnt alone to do, the entire cast is convinsing in their acting.
The story shifts at about one third into the movie from hostile rivalry to elderly White male becoming a mentor for young black male. Although the story is simple and irritating, the movie keeps you engaged mainly because its well put together. Acting, directing, sound and music is spot on and the scenery is fresh, attractive and beautiful. Simply put, you can rest your senses on this movie and be entertained.
The drawback of this hollywood production is the diversity qouta and agenda which makes me wanna skip several parts but its hard to do watching this at the cinema.
This is some of the things you will experience in this movie as a deeper message, which basically says; 'White man out, black man in.' You have:
Without 'the message', this movie could have been great as in 8/10 but now it only reaches good which is 7/10.

This is some of the things you will experience in this movie as a deeper message, which basically says; 'White man out, black man in.' You have:
- elderly White male at end of career
- young black male at start of career
- top technician is a female
- top mechanic is a black man
- owner of company is an old White male
- the executive is a brownish spanyard
- most of the focus in the movie is on the young black driver and his goal of making a career in a 'racist environment'
- the elderly brad pitt starts to help the young black male to succeed after one third of the movie.
- brad pitts character constantly gets put down throughout the movie
- the young black guy is always trying yo look posh and better than everyone else
- a young White woman is reprimanded by the black lead mechanic
- the young White woman is also out of place bcs she is incompetent and again, its not a position women thrive for. Changing gears on a car..no.
- Brad Pitts character ends the movie as a lonely vagabond not interested of money..just after abandoning his female flirt..Yeah, what a happy ending for the Whitey..
Without 'the message', this movie could have been great as in 8/10 but now it only reaches good which is 7/10.
"The west" is some kind of attempt of a documentary about the American history. The format are pictures, rounded with live action and several people giving their take on the matter.
It starts off with the clash between the natives and the settlers but soon the framing becomes "White" ppl vs "indians/natives" with the talking heads grinning happily when describing defeats for the Whitey. The series clearly have a tilted wibe to frame Whitey as the villain and natives as the heroes/victims.
Kevin Costner is the narrator and he does a good job telling the stories.
Its a quality production and easy to follow but I cant get over the tilted framing, it doesnt come off as professional and genuine to me, which makes me doubt the truth of whats being told.

A pretty disgusting derpraved sickening movie.
At first I tjought this could be an interesting idea for a movie but I soon realise that this lab rat human is portraited as experiencing real suffering every time he burns or freeze to death or is killed any other horrible way.
It seems to.me that unless you are a psychopath you wont find this movie funny or entertaining the slightest. To add to the psychotic theme this movie is drained with 'the message', which per usual is to portrait White males as evil, dumb or weak and constantly being put down and ridiculed. Black people are of course depicted the opposit way. Women are also per usual depicted as stronger than men and ofc there is the obligatory race mixing.
Technically it holds a good quality. The cgi is well done and directing is good. There isnt much music in the movie but the sound is on point. However that isnt enough for me to like this bcs the story is just too disgusting.
Skip this shit.
