American Pie: Beta House is the sixth entry in the series following American Pie Presents the Naked Mile.
Erik Stifler and his buddy Kooze have arrived at college. They are pledging the Beta House, which Erik's cousin Dwight Stifler is a member. The new pledges have a long list of tasks that they must complete to be accepted into the Beta House.
There's a rivalry between the Beta House and the Geek House. It seems the Geek House has become the main attraction on campus and the Beta's want to get their edge back.
The leader of the Geek House, Edgar, challenges Dwight and the Beta's to the Greek games. The winner gets the loser's house and the loser has to leave the campus.
If you've enjoyed the previous American Pie films you'll enjoy this one too.

Hot Shots is a funny spoof of Top Guns, Dances with Wolves, 9 1/2 Weeks, and more from the guys who brought us Airplane! And the Naked Gun series.
Topper Harley (Charlie Sheen) is an ace military jet pilot who has struggles with his past. He had been kicked out of the military, but is brought back for project "sleepy weasel".
Hot Shots has many rapid fire jokes. Lloyd Bridges is especially funny as the clueless Admiral Tug Bensen.
Even if you're not familiar with all the movies being spoofed, Hot Shots is a lot of fun. The rivalry between Charlie Sheen and Cary Ewles characters is comical too!
If you're looking for a movie that doesn't require a lot of thought and some good laughs Hot Shots has you covered.

This episode of VH1's popular series "Behind the Music" focuses on the classic rock band Journey.
Band members Neal Schon, Greg Rollie, Ansley Dunbar, Steve Smith, Jonathan Cain, Steve Perry, Ross Valory, Dean Castronovo, and Steve Ageri are interviewed, as well as former manager Herbie Herbert and then current manager Irving Azoff.
This documentary covers the beginnings, how Greg Rollie and Neal Schon met, to the band's rebirth with Steve Ageri on vocals.
With begin the music we get a brief history of the band. Some of their albums are talked about in great detail and a few are simply mentioned.
It's interesting to hear everybody's perspective. Journey hit big with their fourth album, Infinity, with the addition of Steve Perry to the band. Thus the wheels are in motion for the definitive lineup to start forming. Drummer Steve Smith replaces Ansley Dunbar for the Evolution album. Keyboardist Greg Rollie jumps ship after the Departure tour. Jonathan Cain is brought into the band and the classic Journey lineup is born. The lineup of Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Steve Smith and Jonathan Cain create Journey's most successful albums; Escape and Frontiers. Escape will launch Journey into a whole new stratosphere.
After Frontiers and it's supporting tour, Steve Perry is ready for a break and Neal Schon will record the HSAS "Through the Fire" and Steve Perry will get a taste of solo success with "Street Talk" and Journey will never be the same again.
When Journey regroups to record Raised on Radio, Steve Perry demands creative control and Steve Smith and Ross Valory get the boot. Perry suffers burnout and Journey quietly fades away. Schon and Cain will go on to form Bad English with John Waite, while Steve Perry spends years out of the spotlight.
Come 1995 after a solo album and tour, Steve Perry reaches out to Jonathan Cain and let's him know that he's got an urge to be in Journey again.
The Escape/Frontiers lineup reunites to record Trial by Fire. The new album spawns a hit with "When You Love a Woman", but quickly disappears when a medical issue keeps Steve Perry off the road.
After a two year wait Schon and Cain inform Perry that they're moving forward with a new singer. Steve Ageri of the band Tall Stories is brought into the band as is drummer Deen Castronovo when Steve Smith declines.
Beginning in 1998, Journey hits the road and slowly builds their audience back up. The first few years they will play theaters. In 2001 they'll release the Arrival album and continue to tour. Over time the band will build their audience back up and return to larger venues.
I hadn't watched this in years, but I came across the old VHS tape that I recorded this episode and the Ozzy Osbourne episode on.
