We are all here because we loved Alton Browns Cutthroat Kitchen, and this ain't it. Instead of 3 rounds of absolute chaos, it's two rounds of uninspired sabotages. The original was like the Double Dare physical challenge segment of cooking shows and this one is like some corporate picnic you're required to go to and play games that HR came up with.

The set definitely got an upgrade but really it's a downgrade, as the original had this gritty warehouse Saw vibe, this one just looks like every cooking show set on Food Network. Nothing feels like anyone is in any danger. It's like the more money they threw at it the cheaper it feels.

I can watch the original over and over where this was a one and done.

10/10 totally recommend watching it so you can suffer like I did.

The show starts off fine. I wanted a show about craftsmen making awesome tree houses, instead I got a terribly scripted family comedy show on Animal Planet of all things. As the seasons go on I'm surprised it's even featuring the building aspect. There's no point in watching past the second season as the show goes down hill quickly. I'm sure your 9 year old would like it, as it quickly devolves into a terrible YouTube'esk influencer self-indulgent power hour for people who'd rather tune out their brains. The terrible pop ups, editing, and overall production of the show ruin what could have been an excellent show. 10/10.

What were you expecting, a masterpiece or something? It delivers on a sequel to the first movie. It's a stupid buddy comedy that doesn't take itself seriously. It's almost like an actual funny version of Grown Ups 2. I love a good Late Night Comedy style movie, like Grandmas Boy or Hot Tub Time Machine and this teeters on the line of comedy and pacing. If you haven't seen it and you want a dumb fun comedy, watch both Buddy Games movies. Hell I wish they'd make a third one, or even a second season of the game show.

The show was a little bit too long and the side characters are kind of annoying, that's about it.
