I like movies, full-stop. Any decade, any country of origin - you name it, and I'll give it a go. I'm trying to review all the films I've seen that I can remember in enough detail to talk about with an air of authority. I get very annoyed when I see reviews by people who have barely watched the film they are reviewing. How can they pass judgement on a movie they half-remember seeing twenty years ago but never again since? How can they offer their opinion of a film they had playing in the background during a house party? Since I started reviewing movies here on the imdb it has become aparent to me that I seem to have a leaning towards '70s cinema (I didn't realise how many '70s films I'd seen until I startred looking down my review list and noticing the year of releases). The best film I've ever seen? Hard to say - Maybe The Grapes Of Wrath; North By Northwest; One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. The worst is definitely the "comedy" that had me contemplating suicide:- Transylvania 6-5000 with Jeff Goldblum and Ed Begley Jr. I'm a school teacher for a living, but if someone offered me a job reviewing movies I'd accept it without hesitation - even for less money!!!
