After the first 8 it falls off and fast. Oh Soo Ah is probably the most annoying character since Skyler from Breaking Bad and I am taking into account the eldest son Jang Geun Won, he is much more likable. A bit too much virtue signaling as well which was a first for me in a Korean TV show.

I slogged through the last episodes, finally, but it was a painful experience. I am not sure if the writers quit mid way through the show or something else happened. The love story was predictable early on as well. A shame really. The acting was exceptional but the story just fizzled out so fast. To each their own.

I like Marty and his family but the show is quite silly. Each show is as follows.

Homeowner - I will not in a million years do xxxxx. Marty will then tell them what has to be done. Homeowner - never, ever. I refuse to do it. 4 minutes later they agree and then the real show begins. Marty, Misty and Matt are quite talented people and it can be entertaining but the ignorance of the people they are helping seems a little over the top. Basically every plan in the episode (3 to 4 ideas) the Raneys come up with is met with absolute negativity and defiance only to quickly acquiesce.

As a city slicker I know more than every one of these so called "homesteaders" and I would not be out there so why are they? Are they acting like they are super ignorant for the show? I cant stop thinking about that. I wish it was more genuine I guess. Give it a go and see if you like it, its not for me..

Terrible plot/writing and the CGI is just terrible. I have not seen it this bad before. Will Smith can act no doubt but he was hit in miss in this one - even if he performed flawlessly this film was doomed. It is an easy skip.
