Are you kidding me with the low ratings? This movie is great in every way. Hilarious, emotional and dramatic at points, not to mention the camera work. The soundtrack is perfect for every scene. The plot is genius. Top scenes: both scenes with Tony Robbins, the club scenes, the taxi scene, all burn unit scenes (if you don't shed tears, you're not human), every scene where Hal sees people for how they are on the inside, every dialogue scene between Costanza and Hal, all scenes with Walt and of course the scenes with Paltrow. Man, if you don't feel good while watching this movie, I truly don't think you are firing on all cylinders. I'm not even a comedy guy. I prefer b/w film noir, horror and westerns. Y'all need to go back and rewatch. Black's best movie, imo.

Great movie with a decent script and good acting. I love to watch this movie about once a year. It moves fast through the rapture and tribulation period but it's easy enough to follow along. Being a teenager at the time this movie was made really takes me back every time I watch it. You won't be disappointed with it's message and overall quality. Great family movie.

Some of the actors in this movie actually made some pretty good movies in their day. I'd have to agree with one of the other critiques of this movie also when it noted that it does a great job without all the Hollywood pizzazz. Enjoy!
