I liked this movie right until the end and then it became ridiculous. Great cast with some excellent actors. The story was slow moving and at times hard to follow who was who. The usual plot with the FBI acting in a foreign country without authorization--no power of arrests or gun carry or they would have been thrown in a Mexican jail. The ending was very ridiculous with everyone in the public market carrying or displaying guns at the standoff. The supposed Russian professional assassin struts around wearing an open shoulder holster and with his men displaying guns and automatic rifles. He opens fire in a busy public market. Very unprofessional and as if you can get away with anything like this in Mexico. The standoff in the public market defied stupidity. Andy Garcia as an established gangster would never have gone with the "Mexico City" group where he knew he would be killed. How Aiden Quinn managed to get around and end up on a secluded beach is interesting as he had no money with him and would have easily been arrested by the police in Tijuana and extradited. He made no effort to disguise his appearance while on the run. ??? Overall a good movie but the ending on all fronts was very poorly done.

I usually watch these episodes with the volume off and captions on as I get so sick of the yelling and high fives as if these people are at a sports match because a shark has appeared. Always some unknown "marine biologist" who overact with their 15 minutes of fame and sensationalize their shark research. The research they are conducting is usually something really ridiculous that I can't imagine any funding would sponsor. The shark pictures are great but the sompeople on these episodes and what they are trying to accomplish is just the stuff of nothing but show biz. I notice over the past few years the history channel has really gone down hill.

I got through season one but during the 3rd episode of season 2 ; I had had enough. Octavia is not a great actress and seems to have to be in every scene. Her voice is very nauseating. Then we have Marcus the private detective who has a nice home and a wife and daughter and yet spends all his time working for Poppy and for nothing because he is infatuated with her. Hello ?? Even Kate Hudson can't save this series as the acting is so bad and the plots ridiculous. More time is spent on other scenarios that have no consequence in solving the murder and are out and out boring. Far too much talking and soul searching about past lives--who cares--boring ! The music and songs that seem to be part of the series are very annoying with really stupid lyrics and singers that can't sing. After a while you loose track of who is who as there is so much non related scenarios in between.

Overall very boring and for sure not a thriller. Enough for me !
