If you watch this film and come away thinking it's great because it's original, I have some news for you; it's a rip off Basket Case 3.

The last 30 minutes is the schlockiest (is that even a word) B-movie horror I've seen in decades, but where it fails for me is that the movie tries to take itself seriously whereas actual B-Horror movies know what they are and add elements of humor.

It feels like it wants to be compared to Cronenberg but the message gets lost as it transcends into literal nonsense and I was wishing it would have ended 20 minutes earlier.

I can't in good conscience give it higher than 4 for those reasons, but Demi did have a great performance so I'll give her credit where credit is due.

Looking for something to do with my son, and he wanted to see this so we got tickets.

I had no expectations going in so as long as my son enjoyed it, it was going to be worth it. Right off the bat the story pulled me in and had me paying attention.

The pacing was well-done and the entire theatre was laughing along with Key's Bumblebee.

Is this a film that's going to win Oscar's? I doubt it, but it very enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to a re-watch when I get a chance.

Some movies need to be seen on the big screen and I felt this is one of them based on some of the scenes. Yes the entire film is animated, and was really cool how they portrayed Cybertron.

By the end my son was leaning forward in his seat hands on his face with his jaw dropped.

As a fan of transformers, I'm rating it an 8 for a fun, action/comedy with high rewatchability. Go for the fun, stay for the feels. Luckily you don't need to stay long for the post credits scene.
