Loved the movie, but everything about this senseless surrounding drama told me that watching the documentary would make me cringe at yet another set of overpaid, air-headed celebrities behaving badly. I should not have watched because it actually turned out to be worse than what I expected. All of the claims seem baseless and definitely mimic the behavior of schoolyard children hurling nonsensical taunts. This whole case is such a waste of precious court resources so two immature adults can try to one up each other.
I'm very disappointed in Lively because that's not the way to get creative control. Then to bring in Reynolds and Swift; talk about a mean girl gang (Ryan included).
This whole case is just one big BS non-debacle. And this is why I no longer pay to go to the movies.

The documentary was very well done, as it captured very well the subject matter, the main character, and what I would say is the pathology of the anti-aging methodology applied.
I fully understand the perspective that too many people, including myself, pay too little attention to our overall health and that results in early aging. But too much of anything is usually detrimental to our health as well. Johnson's approach to a healthy lifestyle is actually the extreme opposite of an unhealthy one and may actually in the long run cause him later good health or even early death.
Beyond the physical, Johnson seems to have been suffering from some serious mental health issues bordering on self harm. My concern would be when he no longer can utilize the extreme physical plan, will he again subject himself to perhaps even more psychological stress.
The documentary did an excellent job, a very balanced view of the subject and his approach to anti-aging, or the quest to never die.

Ok do, having waited this long to hear from Foxx about his medical issues, I was expecting that he'd weave a story in a wickedly funny way. Well what I got was feeble attempts at humor (penis and potty hospital jokes are so low bar and beneath a throughly established comedian), crocodile tears, a lame stream of consciousness story, name dropping, and half-funny riffs that ran 45 minutes too long.
I simply wanted Foxx to do what he and his caliber of comedians do without thought; take a hard topic and find the humor. Family photos are cute, but I wanted comedy. I'm elated that Foxx is doing well health wise, but don't promise a comedy show and deliver a homily.
