This film never got off the ground. No background story to explain why these girls ended up in Oz in the first place (believe me, there's always a back story when it comes to backpackers!).

The plot has all kinds of holes in it, loose ends that never get tied up. I kept waiting for it to develop but it just aborted about half way through. Degenerated into a huge nothing.

I watched it because I like the main character. I just feel that an actress of her caliber is wasted in a wackadoodle film like this.

I also don't think it's an honest portrayal of the outback. Women have to be careful out there, yes. But this raucous, delinquent bar behavior seemed over the top even for Oz.

Sharon Stone is simply a beautiful human being. So talented, kind and altruistic. I will watch any film in which she appears.

I just happened upon this film as I surfed the Italian film channels. It's 11 pm, but I'm willing to rewatch the second half of this film. The other actors are goid. Very good. Especially Jackson. But Sharon Stone is my reason for staying up well past my bedtime.

Hoffman... I can always do without. Shreiber...well, he shouldn't have made such poor life choices either.

The others actors are fine. But Sharon stands out as a shining star. She is a multi-talented artist that deserves recognition as such.
