Yes this movie will not win any Oscars I'll be remembered as a cinema classic in 100 years time however, for a bit of light and easy tongue-in cheek fun what do you want for 90 minutes?... I love the fact that the two main love interests looked their age but pretty good for it lol and weren't plastic surgery nightmares...Easy to follow plot, lovely scenery and a fun soundtrack..... Put your feet up and just enjoy for a bit and then you can forget about it the next day., not all movies have to be Oscar winners to be enjoyable. Sometimes they need to be a bit silly with no guilt. The world is serious enough to not take a chill pill occasionally.

I am so glad I watched the show first, then decided to have a look at the reviews on IMDB. I agree, it's not action packed, but well written and character driven as opposed to all CGI. It is a bit slow here and there....and not as per the "original " story so much but still a good solid show....I am looking forward to more episodes....

What a shame that a fantastic book has been turned into such a dismal movie! I absolutely loved the book, and couldn't believe that the film could veer so far off track The acting was average, a lot of the film focused on showing the beautiful mountain scenery when it could have been better spent filling in some of the obvious plot holes and it seemed rushed and amateurish.. I understand there are time limits but valuable information to the film and potential future films was omitted. Even if I hadn't read the book, I still would have found the film very disappointing and lacking tension, character development and reason. If you have seen the film, forget it and go read the book if you haven't already. You will be rewarded.
