The show is very good. It's well acted, well paced, well written, and enjoyable. It's NOT boring. Far from it. Every episode skillfully keeps the viewers attention and makes us want more.

Which makes me realize that the only reason it's getting review bombed is because the fanboys living in their parents basement can't handle the fact it stars minorities and women.

But to comment further about the overwhelming veiled racism and sexism flowing through these reviews is folly. Instead, I'll rebut some of the more half-witted arguments.

Argument: It's not canon.

Rebuttal: Things evolve, change happens, grow up. Also, if any of you watched the entire series you'll see it doesn't break canon. It works with canon.

Watch the whole series before you complain.

Argument: It's predictable and boring.

Rebuttal: The original trilogy is very predictable but to the kids watching it appeared revolutionary. Lucas stole his ideas and direction (almost shot for shot) from other films. The plotting is even laughable. But apologists continue to defend it as the holy grail.

This series is not boring. And it's not predictable. It is a show with twists and turns and it's wonderful to watch.

Argument: It's poorly written.

Rebuttal: The original trilogy is so poorly written even the actors continued to call out the writers decades later. The prequel trilogy is even worse. The ONLY reason these films have endured is due to the acting.

Argument: Disney ruined Star Wars again.

Rebuttal: This argument is the same poorly recycled fanboy garbage who said "George Lucas ruined my childhood" when he released the prequel trilogy. Get over your fake nostalgia and move along.

I could go on, but what's the point? Review bombing is so commonplace now few people are going to listen to the poor reviews.

And take a shower. Even your reviews reek.

Please don't listen to the poor reviews. This movie is fun. The dynamic between the leads is perfect. I cared what happened. And I laughed my butt off.

Superhero fatigue is to blame for the poor showing of recent marvel films. I disagree. I think they are too long and they take themselves too seriously. The Marvels addresses both of these problems. And it works.

Are there problems? Of course there are. But it's not all over the place. It's actually quite focused.

And the best of all, it sets up the future of the Marvel Universe at the very end of the film as well as the mid credit scene. And it's wonderful. The future of the MCU is going to be great.

The bad: Watching manic Ezra Miller act with manic Ezra Miller gets old. Fast. The editing doesn't help because the pauses are just a bit too long to make the conversations flow. But even before hand, the character didn't feel right. They turned the Flash into, well, an idiot. We get it: he's always hungry. We don't need 20 minutes of the same joke about him needing food. Or that he's the member of the Justice League who is cleaning up the messes of Batman. Funny? Sure. For a moment. But it drags.

The good: Once Michael Keaton enters the movie it moves. The filmmakers and Miller should have studied Michael Keaton acting with Michael Keaton works (Multiplicity) because he's a comedic actor. The man is just fun to watch. Thankfully he's in the film for the remainder.

More bad: the fight scenes. The filmmakers are trying to pull a page from Waititi's Thor. But it doesn't work when you try to have two Flashes who have known each other for a day working in perfect synch. It's forced. And dull.

Further bad: Zod. Completely support what they were trying to do. But they failed bc Zod is a one note character who was even dull in Man of Steel. His return should have caused us to care about the destruction of the world. We don't. But this isn't because of Zod. This is because the filmmakers take so much time on attempting to draw humor from two Millers that they fail to bring a human connection to the audience to make us care if anyone survives.

I literally cared about the dog in the beginning more than anyone else.

If they cut 45 minutes of the movie, maybe it would have worked. But at 2.5 hours? Not at all.

This was far from the 'best superhero movie made yet' and people claimed. It's far from even a competent movie at all.
