The second part of the new gamera-series offers the same advantages of the first movie only with improved quality. The design of legion is well done offering a mean, foreign but interesting looking villain that threatens earth (especially Japanese cities :) The story is convincing, revealing the nature of legion step by step (meaning the film is very interesting even if there are humans instead of monsters on screen, which is, in my opinion is very important to a film based on special effects).

An amazingly well done film you'll surely want to watch more than only one time.

If you only know the Toho-Godzilla movies and expect the same here, than you'll be overwhelmed by the advantages this film offers (it's not that I dislike the Godzilla movies, but this is definitely the beginning of a series with higher qualities).

The Story is interesting, the special effects are good (sometimes even awesome, meaning the CGI-shots, like gamera shooting fireballs) and the music-score is convincing too, offering a few remarkable themes.

Total: a very entertaining film!

That's the way a kaiju-film should be: great story, great special effects, great designed monsters, great music.... I enjoyed it much more than the US-Godzilla or even the last Star Wars film (I simply didn't expect a rubber-suit monster movie to be this GREAT).
