I don't know what's about this film, perhaps' the girls or the photography, the whole story, how it's filmed, but I just love it.

I can't stop watching it and every time I find something new to watch.

I LOVE short films, because I do believe you can tell a story in a few minutes, but this one takes that to the extreme.

And it's not just one thing -yes, the girls are awesome-, it's the whole thing.

It's been filmed in NY -or pretends to be there-. I don't know why, most of the American movies I like happens in NY.

I can just tell you one thing about this movie: If you haven't watched it yet, DO IT KNOW, you'll love it.

Yes, yes, yes, I know, it's not Godfather or any other of those excellent movies I've seen. But I like it.

I had to admit that I was (and to certain point still keep on being) a big Vanilla Ice fan. I do like his rap. So, that might have influenced me, but, nahh, this film is not that bad. I've seen worse films (take David Cronenberg's Crash as an example) and people still tries to find the hidden mysterious beauty. C'mon David Cronenberg or not David Cronenberg Crash is bad.

The same happens with Cool As Ice. Yes, I know it's not original, it's not new, and it doesn't has what Godfather has, but, nonetheless I guess it's a nice movie to watch those long Sundays when you are cozy in your bed without feeling like doing anything else...

Well that's just my two cents on the matter (BTW, did I say that Vanilla Ice's acting is NOT THAT BAD)...

I can't explain into words what this film produced in me. I mean, I've seen Goodfather and Bom Yeoreum Gaeul Gyeoul Geurigo Bom, and... and, I always liked them a lot.

But this movie, leaves you something else. Though it's sad, it's amazingly well done without getting into the «common places» (as we say in Spanish), and it can still leave you the feeling you want more about Lilja, more about, Andrei, more about every single character on the plot.

It's so well written and so well 'told', that it makes you wanna it will never ends.

On the other hand, it's not just fiction, it tells us a lot about what Soviets became when the wall was down. What capitalism and democracy means to the rest of the world (and by the rest of the world I mean the world minus USA, and their wealthy friends.) It's such an amazing thing what Lukas has done here. I mean he's telling a lot of History on this particular Story, and, even more, he's letting us know that, no matter what might happen, there's always HOPE.
