Some films challenge audiences with thought-provoking narratives, stunning visuals, or deep emotional resonance. Others, like The Dry seem to challenge viewers in a different way-by testing their patience to the absolute limit.
From the opening scene, the film makes it painfully clear that it has no intention of picking up the pace. Long, drawn-out shots linger far past their welcome, filled with mundane conversations and endless silences that seem to exist solely to stretch the runtime. The plot, if you can call it that, meanders without direction, offering little in the way of stakes or character development.
The performances are adequate, but even the actors seem disengaged, as if they, too, are wondering when something-anything-will happen. The cinematography is technically competent but uninspired, capturing a series of lifeless frames that do nothing to enhance the story. The soundtrack, or lack thereof, only amplifies the feeling of emptiness, making every moment drag even further.
Perhaps the film is trying to be deep, but if there's a message, it's buried beneath layers of monotony. Yes, it's "understood"-it's just not engaging. Instead of sparking discussion or emotion, it leaves you staring at the screen, checking the time, and wondering how much longer you have to endure.
By the time the credits roll, there's no sense of payoff or catharsis-just relief that it's finally over. If you enjoy films that feel like an endurance test, this might be for you. Otherwise, spare yourself the agony and watch something-anything-else.

The story depicted is purely fictional and totally invented. The evidences from judges and witnesses tells another path.
It is a big shame for netflix to change the truth.
Despite the points described and the details shared, the truth is different.
From the beginning there are so many elements that combined together show contradictions and false reconstructions.
What are the reasons behind that fake?
The scenes and the interviews are good if only considered fictitious and generated by the fantasies of the authors.
Please note that my comment does not revealed any part of the show or spoils the end.

This is what Milan will look in 10-15 years.
Apart from the comment, which I believe in in any case, the movie is boring, understandable and you guess the final from the beginning of the story.
I didn't like it at all. There are too many stereotypes, and the actors didn't impress me at all. Not a good movie.
