When Sensei Wu told Cole about a new menace in the land of Ninjago, the ninja team is in a race against time to stop the skeleton army and their allies.

As the Kyotoans had found the hideout of the Scythe of Quakes, Cole disguises himself to get it before anyone else.

Having been unable to obtain the Scythe in Ninjago, Cole sneaked on board of the Kyotoan vessel to steal it.

Being arrested, Cole is brought to the sinister Sir Marcus Rodas. However, it doesn't take long until he tries to escape.

Being caught again, Cole is sentenced to death by having to go to the arena.

Even though he barely escaped, Cole is still willing to get the Scythe of Quakes.

After Cole successfully stole the Scythe of Quakes, the skeletons visit the ninja team at home.
